The new year brings a fresh round of opportunities to grow and learn together toward joyful living. Here are a few coming up in the next several months.

The Joy of Making - Last Day for Early Bird Rates & Speaker Submissions

Join us at our 2024 annual gathering from July 25-27, 2024, in Wilmore, Kentucky! This conference will be a time of exploration and growth as we unpack Charlotte Mason’s ideas on handwork, life skills, and the joy of making. We’ll study the impact of creative work and discuss how artistry connects to many areas of the feast, sometimes in surprising ways. Our sessions will honor the old and embrace the new, and of course, we’ll live out what we teach as makers of beautiful and useful things! We hope to see you there!

Alveary Registration Opens!

Alveary families and schools say it’s a little like Christmas when registration opens. We post book previews for the year on YouTube (subscribe in advance to be notified when they go live!). And new and returning members receive scheduling resources and the new 2024-25 programs for each grade (booklists with placement tips, course descriptions, rationale for each book, and links).  Of course that’s on top of continuing access to Alveary Foundations, training resources, regular Office Hours, and the Alveary Hive, our member community platform. We hope you'll join the fun!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
